Got a Vehicle Safety Systems Inspection done here for a salvaged title vehicle and I was very worried as the checklist for these seem to be very extreme, they let me bring it in for a quick look over at a couple areas I was concerned about, took care of what needed fixed and brought it in. I was able to get it passed and I will say they are one of the more expensive shops but they are totally worth it, great crew, very knowledgeable and I would recommend anyone to come here for a stress free smooth process.

Pleasant experience, or at least as pleasant as possible when you consider car repairs. My car is running once more as if it were new.

I brought my Ford to this location as they were recommended by another automotive place. I was quoted $7,400 by another repair location. Duncan looked over the car and came back at $3,770. So far the car is running great! Chris was very thoughtful and fully explained what the car needed.

I ended up wasting a ton of time and money at Duncans. I recommend not going there, and if you do, google the price of OEM parts from a dealership or an auto parts store before agreeing to their service. Duncan’s markup is criminal. I got towed there after my catalytic converter was stolen. They wouldn't give me an estimate over the phone, even though two other shops did after I landed at Duncans. After charging $105 for a diagnostic, they quoted me $4,400 for a job I ultimately got done at the Roseville Toyota dealership for $2,500. Duncans would have charged $3,100 for a catalytic converter that was $1,800 from the Toyota parts center, $300 for a $120 O2 sensor, $10 for $1 bolts, etc. My local shop wouldn’t have charged me for a simple diagnostic like that - it’s a straightforward job, and you can see whats missing by looking under the car.

I have taken multiple cars to them with a variety of issues, they always solve it in a timely manner with great communication. Last visit was for my 2004 nissan murano, for a failed alternator. They made sure to test all circuits involved before changing the alternator. They checked to follow up a few days after as well.
