I'm normally very happy with the work performed on my vehicles at Duncan's. Not this time. I brought my 2014 Kia in to diagnose an oil leak, replace the front break pads and turn the rotors. I told them it looked like the valve cover gasket and possibly the timming cover. I also provided the pads because I have lifetime replacement pads., I got a call and they told me the could not turn my slotted rotors. So they replaced the pads and lubed the pins. They returned my old pads along with the new hardware they didn't install. The diagnosis consisted of two pictures that showed me what I could already see. They didn't clean the oily area to pin point the leak. They said it looks like the valve cover and possibly the timming cover. Recommended I change both and then clean and check for additional leaks. I was charged $300. To change front break pads and snap two pics then tell me what I told them when I came in. They have no problem changing the timming cover without confirming that it was leaking. Over $500. I replaced the valve cover gasket myself and that stopped the leak. Just thought you should know
